Firestar

Firestar is a small, ruddy Somali purebred with emerald green eyes, who was formerly a kittypet. He has very soft, plush fur, a plumed tail, oval eyes and large, wide-set ears.

As a young kittypet, Firestar was discovered by Greypaw at the border of his garden and Thunderclan territory. After coming to Thunderclan, he was trained by Bluestar, who later adopted him as her son. Though he faced prejudice, he proved himself as a loyal, courageous warrior. His relationship with his mate Sandstorm was damaged deeply after he had kits with a rogue and he brought Cloudkit to the clan, and was forced to train him himself. When Tigerclaw was exiled for murdering Windclan, Fireheart was named heir by Bluestar, an unprecedented decision that led to unrest among the clans. He begins to take up leadership duties after Bluestar neglects them, naming Cindersong and Brightheart warriors after they are maimed by dogs, as well as the other apprentices that Bluestar refused.

Bluestar dies saving the clan from the dogs, and for the first time in clan history, a kittypet is accepted by Starclan to become a clan leader. As leader, he appoints Sandstorm deputy, and she comes to forgive him and they become mates once again. They then go on to have kits, named Squirrelkit and Leafkit, who are training to be warriors.
